Therapists who Tarot 2025 Retreat
“Ethical and Clinical Applications of Tarot Cards”
In North Bend, WA
(just outside of Seattle)
Wednesday, September 3 -
Sunday, September 7
Comes with 9 CEs!
Are you a mental health clinician who is into tarot?
Would you like to deepen your relationship with the cards? And learn how to integrate them into your therapeutic work? (because there are plenty of clients who would love you to do just that)
But when it comes to your interest in tarot, do you feel like an outlier?
Can you imagine what it would be like to be seen, heard, supported, and understood by others who get it?
This retreat is dedicated to giving you the space, time and community to explore the tarot, both personally and professionally. We will be eating (all meals are served on site and included in your cost) and creating together from Wednesday night through Sunday morning.
The setting is Rainbow Lodge, a beautiful retreat center that offers tranquility in the midst of a lush forest and mountain streams in the shadow of Mount Si, in North Bend, just outside of Seattle, Washington. Twin Peaks was filmed near by, so you can stop by Twede’s Café for some pie!

This will be a safe space to gather in community with like-minded people. You’ll have the opportunity for growth, creativity, and self-reflection – all centered around tarot!
This is what Christina M., who attended our 2023 retreat, had to say about their experience:
“I was a bit nervous going into this retreat, fearing that I might not fit in due to my limited experience with tarot. I left with an understanding that I knew much more than I thought I did, and so much more confidence in my ability to use tarot as a projective device with clients. In fact, I jumped right into it the following week and my clients were delighted.
Dreya and Rebecca immediately created a sense of connection and community and provided amazing instruction, resources and art-making space. There was a deep sense of camaraderie in the group and many friendships were made. To me this is the sign of a stellar retreat.
5 out of 5! Highly recommend!”
Your host will be Dreya, who has years of experience using tarot therapeutically and an abundance of resources to share with you, along with special guest Rebecca.
Rebecca and Dreya are committed to making this retreat transformational, with plenty of experiential and hands-on activities!

During the retreat, Rebecca will guide you along the imagery of the Pamela Colman Smith’s illustrations of tarot as you create your own cards using collage imagery.
And Dreya will be sharing a plethora of tarot-based therapeutic activities you can use in your sessions with clients.
Together, we’ll discuss and work through challenges you might have regarding incorporating tarot into your clinical work.
The purpose of this retreat is for us to grow alongside one another and connect more deeply in community…have meaningful and juicy conversations about tarot and its place in our lives…find encouragement…and have fun!
There will be a mixture of sessions and activities, along with time to reflect, relax and renew your spirit in beautiful surroundings.
Our goal is for you to experience this magical woodland retreat space as an opportunity to go deep: to get creative, connect with community, and rejuvenate yourself. To have fun but also engage in contemplation in a natural environment teeming with wildlife.
Rebecca has been an art therapist for two and a half decades. She will guide you to a greater understanding of the tarot by means of art-making, using collage and other materials. Your inner artist has been waiting to come out and play - and creating your own tarot cards will allow you to deepen your understanding of tarot in a completely new and profound way.
Dreya has been using tarot with therapy clients for over twenty years and is the author (under their former name) of The Tarot Activity Book: A collection of creative and therapeutic ideas for the cards.
If you’ve been hesitant to introduce tarot cards into your therapy sessions, then this is your chance to learn how to do so - with confidence! Using tarot with clients isn’t about memorizing a book full of meanings or predicting the future.
Instead, Dreya will demonstrate how trusting your own intuitive wisdom will open you up to a whole new world, both for you and your clients. She will share practical, powerful therapeutic activities with the cards that you can immediately begin incorporating into your sessions.
You’ll also learn how to feel more comfortable introducing tarot to your clients, in terms of marketing, what you put on your website and in your informed consent form, as well as what you might actually say to your client in session about the cards. We’ll also discuss how to write notes that ethically reflect the work you are doing :)
Tarot cards will add such a powerful dimension to your therapeutic work, and so we want you to leave the retreat feeling comfortable and confident as a member of the “therapists who tarot” family!
